Job Description:
The proposed UX Researcher must have successfully completed at least two (2) full lifecycle, end-to-end projects deriving roadmap priorities from user research data to inform product strategy and design decisions. The candidate must have completed at least two (2) full lifecycle projects conducting inclusive research with diverse and vulnerable populations, including non-English speakers, individuals with disabilities, and senior citizens, for large-scale public sector or statewide constituent services. The candidate must also have completed at least two (2) full lifecycle projects establishing UX benchmarks (e.g., System Usability Scale, Time-on-Task) to measure the impact of "To-Be" designs against legacy "As-Is" systems. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate experience from at least two (2) full lifecycle projects using remote unmoderated testing platforms (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop) to support rapid validation within a two (2) week Agile sprint cadence.
MUST HAVE Qualifications:

2. Inclusive Research - Must have two (2) fully implemented - all phases, end-to-end projects - experiences to demonstrate experience conducting research with diverse and vulnerable populations (e.g., non-English speakers, individuals with disabilities, senior citizens) suitable for a statewide constituent base.
3. Quantitative Benchmarking - Must have two (2) fully implemented - all phases, end-to-end projects - experiences establishing UX Benchmarks (e.g., System Usability Scale, Time-on-Task) prior to development to measure the specific impact of the "To-Be" designs against the "As-Is" legacy state.
4. Remote Testing Tools - Must have two (2) fully implemented - all phases, end-to-end projects - experiences demonstrating the proficiency with remote unmoderated testing platforms (e.g., User Testing, Optimal Workshop) to enable rapid validation cycles within a two (2) week sprint cadence.

Compensation: $40.00 per hour
