Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Appian Developer to design, develop, and implement complex business process management (BPM) solutions using the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Appian architecture, development best practices, and integration patterns, as well as the ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical strategy.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Must have Appian Level 2 or Level 3 certification
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years of hands-on Appian development.
  • Proven experience in Appian versions 21.x or later (including low-code automation features).
  • Strong understanding of Appian architecture, data management, process modeling, and UI design.
  • Experience with Appian plug-ins, RPA, Appian Sites, and Web APIs.
  • Proficiency with SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience integrating Appian with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and Appian plug-in development.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with Appian Admin Console and environment management.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end Appian BPM solutions using Appian Designer, SAIL, and other platform tools.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop and optimize Appian interfaces, process models, data types (CDTs), records, and reports.
  • Integrate Appian applications with external systems using Web APIs, RPA, REST/SOAP services, and plug-ins.
  • Ensure adherence to Appian best practices in development, deployment, and testing.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and deployment guides.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline Appian deployment pipelines and version control.
  • Mentor junior developers and support continuous improvement within the Appian practice.
  • Stay current with the latest Appian platform updates and BPM industry trends.

Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
